Squid
Squads
Our fun and supportive squad program for swimmers ready to build endurance, refine technique, and develop confidence in the water. Every session encourages personal growth, teamwork, and a lifelong love of swimming.
Squid Squads
8+ Years
Squid Squad is our bridge program between Learn to Swim and competitive squad swimming in a club environment, designed for swimmers aged 8–14 years who are ready to take the next step in their aquatic journey.
This program is perfect for children who have completed their Learn to Swim pathway and are ready for a more structured, training-based environment. It focuses on building fitness, improving technique, and developing confidence in a fun, team-oriented setting.
Swimmers are introduced to structured training sets, endurance swimming, and ongoing stroke refinement across freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. While the program builds discipline and consistency, it remains supportive, social, and enjoyable.
Squid Squad also helps swimmers develop important habits for future squad training, including using equipment correctly, understanding training formats, and building confidence swimming alongside others in a group environment.
This is the ideal stepping stone for swimmers who are not quite ready for competitive squads but are ready for more than traditional lessons — a true bridge into lifelong swimming development.

Breakfast Club
Swim. Breakfast. School.
Start the school day with a splash!
Breakfast Club is our fun, fitness-focused morning swim for capable swimmers who want to get moving, build fitness and spend time in the water with friends before heading off to school.
Running Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 7:00–8:00am, Breakfast Club combines an hour in the pool with breakfast afterwards — so swimmers can refuel, get changed and head straight to school.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Breakfast Club is ability-based, not age-based.
Swimmers must be assessed at Western Blue Groper level or above to participate. This includes swimmers currently in:
Western Blue Groper • Southern Eagle Ray • Squid Squad
Because Breakfast Club is a fitness-based session with swimmers working across three lanes, children need the swimming ability and endurance to participate safely and confidently.
WHAT HAPPENS AT BREAKFAST CLUB?
This isn't just another swimming lesson!
While our instructors will always encourage good technique, Breakfast Club has a much stronger focus on fitness, movement and fun.
Expect laps, challenges, relays, games and plenty of opportunities to build endurance and strength in the water.
Then comes the important bit...
Breakfast!
After their swim, Breakfast Club swimmers receive a free bowl of cereal to enjoy together before heading off to school. It's a chance to refuel, have a chat and make some new local friends — while making the morning routine that little bit easier for parents too.
Swimmers can attend one, two or all three mornings each week.
Permanent enrolment – $15 per session
Casual attendance (punch pass) – $17 per session
CAN I DROP MY CHILD OFF?
Swimmers aged 10 years and over may be dropped off for Breakfast Club, provided we have up-to-date parent/guardian contact details and emergency contact details on file. Swimmers under 10 years of age must have a parent or guardian remain on pool deck for the duration of the session.
