About Us

Who We Are

South Coast Squids was created by a local mum-and-dad team who saw a need for something different within the community — a swim school that felt genuinely welcoming, connected and built around families. What started as a simple vision to provide high-quality lessons in a supportive environment has grown into a community-focused space where children and families feel known, valued and supported.

Our Facility

We’re currently putting the finishing touches on our purpose-built swimming facility, designed from the ground up with confident learning, water safety and family connection at its heart.

Our 16m magnesium salt pool will be heated to a comfortable 32°C year-round, with thoughtful features including water familiarisation fountains and current jets designed to help swimmers develop practical skills for real-world aquatic environments.

We’re still in the exciting build phase, but every day brings us one step closer to welcoming our first Squids. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram to watch the transformation and keep up with our progress.

We’re aiming to open our doors and commence swimming lessons from Week 1 of Term 4 — Monday 12 October 2026.
